once upon a time there was a cow who had no brain. he was a no-brained cow. his name was no-brained joe.
so one day he was wandering about the grassy fields and he ran into a tractor and lost his eye. now the no-brained cow only had one eye. he was a no-brained, one-eyed cow. his name was changed to one-eyed no-brained joe. tired and sad and hungry he wandered off into a distant grassy knoll.
(my sister yelled at me 'cause joe wouldn't be able to survive without a brain- how'e'er!- joe was a special cow who can function and do menial tasks without a brain, he just can't think right and all that good stuff…)
when lo and behold there was a bird!
there he stood in the vast grassiness and the bird- who's name was lola- grew to love joe for what he was: a one-eyed, no-brained cow.
so lola and joe spent their days in the grassy knoll loving and hugging and smiling. joe taught lola how to be carefree and worriless thru his actions and lola repeatedly taught joe the importance of love and friendship.
*SIGH*
so one day lola came back to their field to find that joe had wandered off. sad and lonely she flew around searching nearby meadows for her friend joe.
then one day she found him. he had run into a plow and lost his other eye. he was a no-eyed, no-brained cow. his name was no-eyed no-brained joe. and lola was sad but joyous that she had found her friend and loved him for what he was: a no-eyed, no-brained cow.
so they spent their days in the flowery meadow loving and hugging and smiling...
until one day- joe said something absolutely genius! standing in the colorful flowery field he mooed, "I sure do love these flowers! they smell good, and they're beee-ooo-tiful! i never before noticed the beauty in these wonderful works of God…."
"wonderful works of God indeed!!" chirped lola excitedly, "you can see and think!!"
and joe and lola rejoiced in rejoiced in their blessing and spent their days wandering in the vast flowery-ness just sniffing in the beautiful aroma and being happy and loving and hugging and smiling…
and the cow had two eyes and a brain. and his name was joe. and lola loved him what he was: a cow.
the end!
